(Even Thaya and Satesh were facing hard time when i was doing labeling for some of the pictures below).

Restaurant Labros, Thirasia, Greece

Last two summers ago, we went to Athens and Santorini Island in Greece. It was amazing. Everything, and the weather was 37 degrees celcius. We spent 4 days 3 nights in Santorini island. It's where Mamma Mia was filmed too.

We took a boat cruise/tour around the volcano islands, and Thirasia island for lunch.

My friends & I on the boat. Haha and I just had to close my eyes.

Hofbräuhaus Lindenbräu, Berlin

Hofbräuhaus Lindenbräu is a Brewery in Berlin in the Sony Center, Berlin, Germany. We randomly walked around and be touristy around Sony Centre that we were attracted to a pub, as the setting was adequately nice and we were pretty hungry at that time. So we settled in Hofbräuhaus Lindenbräu. That was one good decision.

We had in house brew wheat beer, couple of other drinks and desserts.... guess what? They were SO GOOD! The price was reasonable too!

I was wondering why is that “Robot” Sushi?  They make sushi using a robot instead of human?
It is actually a sushi restaurant plus a bar, it has a fancy fancy interior design

On our 2nd last night in Barcelona, we went to CDLC, which was in Port Olympic. CDLC is a lounge club restaurant. More info here, CDLC website. Before that, we were actually out shopping.  :)

We were very famished by 5.30PM, and we walked around at the beach, and then settled for dinner at 6-ish.

Here are some pictures of the beach:

Tapa Tapa, Barcelona

Mid September, I went to Barcelona with 3 of my flatmates who are also my coursemates and unimates.

Along the streets of La Ramblas, we spotted a famous Tapas restaurant, which was always packed with people.

After visiting La Sagrada Familia (it was amazing), we took a cab and had lunch in Tapa Tapa.

Here are some pictures of La Sagrada Familia.

Chi Peng Chinese Food @ St Ignace, Michigan

Having Chinese Food in the united states consider as a “fine dining” to me! I almost dreamt about malaysian food, chinese food everyday!
In St Ignace, a small town that across the lake, has a unique chinese and thai food restaurant which really attracted me! The reason why i say having chinese food is like having fine dining in the united states is because i will have to pay $10 for the ferry ticket across the Great Lake and another $15 to $20 for the food including tips. But, as long as it could satisfy me, i wouldn’t care!
To be honest, their food wasn’t the “best” food but they at least has a closer taste to what i been eating for the past 21 years! To whom staying overseas, i am pretty sure you guys are enough with all the sausage, scramble egg, bacon, meat loaf, pork chop and salad… @.@

DSC_1243
Finally, i am done with the “work” part of the Work and Travel USA program! I am now on the train to Washington DC after being a 5d4n New Yorker!
Travelling from St. Ignace (one of the nearest town from my working place Mackinac Island) to NYC wasn’t as easy as i thought. I still remember when i talk to Nicole Kreimer, my manager that i am taking a bus all the way from St Ignace to NYC, she gave me “that kind” of look saying that “ ARE YOU CRAZY? WHATS WRONG WITH U?!”

Foie Gras

 Have you tried it before?

But before that... here's a sneak peak on what's coming up soon:

Photobucket

Picture taken at Eiffel tower at night, the light blinks at a every 30 minutes interval.

My first taste of Foie Gras was in Paris two years back during when I was in my first year. Paris was my first European country that I've been too. It was curiosity that led me try Foie Gras. I mean, come on, I'm already in Paris, might as well, as it's famous for it. Alright this means I am going to blog about Paris soon. Soon, alright ;)

The pathetic seats. The leg room is getting smaller for longer distance flight. We had quite-spacious leg room from KLIA to Changi, smaller leg room from Changi to HKIA, the smallest is the longest distance flight, from HKIA to Chicago.

We have a big screen tv playing 6 old school movies. 10 radio channels.
