hasegawa's hometown

Last saturday, i went Muar, my hometown for cheng-beng. i reached there around 1130 pm. I went to sleep after watching Italian Job at Tv3. Actually my hometown is Muar, but the exact location of my ancestral home is at Sg.Mati. Lol... the name is quite weird right? but in chinese writing is 立丰港! what a big contrast...

Do u know Otak-otak?? Muar is famous of it!! lol.. but this time i got no time to visit Muar, so i not going to inroduce it this time. Next time ba! =)

ok, well... if u see the photo above. Those was my dinner! lol... it was really satisfying, although only low-cost material!! ahhaa....and one thing, all dishes are typical teow-chew cooking style! lol..

first of all, this is barbee-hong ! haha... funny name! haha... well, the sauce is a combination of 12 types of powder! really a " secret recepi" u know.. my aunty dun let me know the actual ingredient. Last time i asked, she replied: " next time u wan eat u tell me la, i cook for u" =.=...

But, nevermind la. Since people is willing to cook for me.. haha.. no problem lo. But i ll try to get it la! barbee-hong, cook it with pork ( de-ka in hokkien) and tau-gua in hokkien speaking! I m not able to tell u in details since i not yet "discover" the recepi! lol..

everytime i back to my hometown, this is my breakfast! lol... it has been a "culture" since n-years ago! haha... i also dunno y... That PakCik's luntong is very nice!! Simple look but great taste! lol... somemore, only rm 1.50 each... Hey KL people, wer can find this rate o!!! haha... so i had 2 plus 1 packet nasi lemak... lol.. what a nice breakfast! haha....

oh ya, billygoat Hill, first time i heard bout this brand. According to my aunty, it is from australia wor... lol... i not yet tried.. we shall see!! lol...

Before i departed from kl in the evening, we had our lunch somewhere in jalan ipoh. This restaurant is famous of their bak-kut-teh. Although alot people highly recommend that klang's bak-kut-teh is the best! but.. for me, this one can say better than those! lol... no offence ya!! lol..

they transform their normal plain rice to fried onion rice! not normal anymore!! wow... it was really really... lol... speechless! haha... i think u can understand what i trying to express right?? u wouldnt know if u nvr try...

their soup can describe as " qing1-tim3" lol... and their meat, very "dan-nga" !! ahha... i think those people who understand cantonese know what m i talking or "crapping" for those who cant understand! hahaha....

Explore Jalan Ipoh and u ll see this restaurant! ops, their business hours from 6pm till midnight! but i advise u not too late, coz everything selling fast! lol.. U all know what early birds normally get right? =)
